MuchLoved’s tribute pages were recently updated with a refreshed design. Tribute pages remain a lasting place of remembrance for families, and are now easier to use and more engaging for visitors.
We wanted to explain what’s changed, why these updates were made, and how they benefit both your business and your client families.
Since we began in 2006, we’ve continued to invest in and improve the MuchLoved tribute service. As the way people use tribute pages has evolved, the design of the tribute needed to evolve, too.
These updates:
For your business, this means families continue to experience a trusted, modern platform.
We’ve carefully updated the look and feel of tribute pages while preserving everything families already know and value.
Every tribute places a loved one at the heart of the page. All the familiar details included on a tribute page remain the same, funeral details, donations, stories, and memories – they are now simply easier for your families to find and use.
Tribute pages are now easier to navigate, with simple improvements that make editing or adding content more straightforward for page owners.
Families now have a seamless experience whether they access a tribute on desktop, tablet or mobile.

These updates mean you can continue offering tribute pages to your families with confidence, knowing they’ll experience a modern, secure, and easy-to-use platform. Tribute pages will remain a valuable way to support grieving families while also creating meaningful opportunities for in-memory giving.
How you create and manage your tributes hasn’t changed – and you can still use your partner area to amend wording, swap the theme, or check on donations. The features of tribute pages that you and your families use and value are the same. There is no change to how funeral notices are displayed on your website.
Families will notice that tribute pages look fresher and are easier to use, but the essence of the service will stay the same: a lasting, secure place to remember their loved ones.
Key points:
The new design began rolling out on 14th October 2025. To avoid any disruption to your families, tributes linked to recent funerals will not be updated until six weeks after the date they were created.
We’re proud to work in partnership with you, and we hope these updates will help you continue to provide comfort and support to your families for many years to come.

Why have you changed how tribute pages look?
We want tribute pages to be as beautiful and easy to use and as reliable as possible. To make sure they work smoothly on all devices and browsers, and remain secure for the long term, we carry out regular updates.
The new tribute pages keep the person who has died at the heart of the tribute, while also improving how the tribute page looks and feels overall. We listened to user feedback on various aspects of the tribute so that creating and using the tribute page is now easier and is an even more meaningful and positive experience.
What has changed?
We have made some changes to how tribute pages look and their overall layout. Everything that your families love about their pages remains, we’ve just made it simpler for them to use.
The gallery has been refreshed to make treasured pictures and memories easier to view and share. It is also now easier for family and friends to add to a page, and families can now see at a glance everything that’s been added recently, like a new photo or memory.
Can we change a tribute page back to the previous look?
We're sorry, but you can’t change a tribute page back to the previous page style.
To keep our tribute pages looking beautiful and working well we need to make regular updates, and these changes cannot be reversed.
Can my clients still access all the comments and pictures on their tribute?
Yes. All tribute content is still there. We’ve refreshed the look of the page, but all the precious content and memories your families have added remains safely on their tribute, featured in ‘Recently added’ items, or in ‘Galleries’ if they prefer to look at them that way, with a visually appealing layout to ‘Stories’ (the new name for ‘Life stories’) and the ‘Timeline’.
Why is this update a good thing for my families?
Your families can keep their tribute pages for as long as they wish, personalised to remember their loved ones. We’ve now made it simpler for them to use, so that precious memories are presented in the most beautiful way possible. It is now easier to view and manage a page, with images and stories displaying more clearly for family and friends to see and share, and with clearer instructions on what can be added to the tribute, and how.
How can a family add messages, photos, and light candles?
To add thoughts, photos, videos, stories, candles, gifts and more, they simply need to click on the ‘Add’ button at the top of the page, and they will be presented with all the options – they can then select what you want to add and follow the few simple steps. If the user is logged in to the tribute, their view will be slightly different, so to add thoughts, photos and more to the tribute, they need to go to ‘Galleries’ first.
Can we still manage tributes and access them in the same way?
Yes, simply log in to your partner area as usual and you can access tributes as normal. You may now find that editing a tribute and its content is easier than ever - just toggle the new ‘Edit’ button at the top of the page. You will then see a small pencil appear at any editable part of the tribute. This is the same for your families wanting to edit a page, they simply need to log in and then they can make any changes they wish.
All settings can be found under the ‘Settings’ option in the menu bar once the pages are updated.
What if a family finds the new tribute difficult to use? Is there a guide to help them find their way around?
We currently do not have a user guide as we are confident that the intuitive user interface will help. However, our friendly support team is available Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm to talk you or a client family through the changes, or you can leave a message or email us on support@muchloved.com outside of these hours and we will get back to you as soon as we are available again.
Has anything changed in terms of privacy or the terms of use?
Nothing has changed in terms of data privacy or how data is safeguarded. Our terms of use remain the same. You will find these on our website on www.muchloved.com/gateway/terms-of-use/ and www.muchloved.com/gateway/privacy-policy
Can my families still personalise their tribute with photos, music and videos?
Yes they can. All the features they’re used to are still there; they can continue adding photos, music, videos and more. The way they appear may look a little different, but everything they’ve chosen to share remains safely on their page. The various themes available can be found in ‘Settings.’
Can families still collect donations on their page?
Yes, absolutely. Tribute pages can continue to raise donations for charities and good causes, helping to honour the person being remembered, and supporting the causes that mattered to them.
